Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (CGS) is a once-a-week program that is essentially Montessori-style religious education designed to help children develop a personal relationship with Jesus, our Good Shepherd.

Level 1 serves children ages 3-6, and we are excited to begin offering Level 2 for children ages 6-9 (grades 1-3)! CGS is led by trained catechists, uses handmade materials, and is held in the atrium at SJB. Cost is $100 per family for each level.

2026-2027 CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD OFFERINGS

LEVEL 1 (AGES 3-6): Focuses on the parable of the Good Shepherd, introducing children to a personal relationship with Jesus and foundational liturgical elements.
